I"m not visiting the forum as often these past weeks and usually just quickly scan through the "View Today's Posts".... so I did not know until today you had a period of not feeling the love. Shame on you for doubting us...LOL.

Was said mostly with sarcasm.. lol.. hard for that to come out on type.
No worries, still feeling the love. I'm heartbroken... I sold Van Halen. Only happy to know it is going to a family that plans on doing about the same thing I got her for. A man, fiancé and 2 kids plan on taking her on trips, taking his father's ashes with them. He passed away 6 months ago. They are avid hikers. The smiles they all had when we pulled up to show her told me enough. I'm still so torn about parting with her. But it is what it is. I WILL have another some day!!!
Things are going so-so here, back to the sticks and bricks drudgery that reminded me of why I wanted to leave all that behind. But, hey, grandbaby will be here in 4 months, and I needed to replenish fundage, so that is how life goes. My little car won't last forever, so I think I'll just be looking for a minivan next time to stay with one vehicle to do both commuting and camping in.
All is well, I kept all of my camping gear!
Anyways, just wanted to touch base and tell everyone that I'm still kicking.

Hi pam! I'm glad you found a good home for Van Halen. that was important to me, when Theo had to go, too.
Stumpy and I did a winter in the vibe. I'd do it again in a heartbeat, if I had to. It's particularlly awesome when you fill the gas tank!

Sounds like you found Van Halen a good new home Pam! I hope that you do take some trips in your Vibe, maybe to the RTR ?

Transitions can be hard ... saying goodbye to VanHalen. But, so cool that you're going to be a grandma! I hope you and the Vibe make it to the RTR.

Grandson is here!!
7lbs, 7oz, born at exactly 7pm on Christmas Eve, after 17 hours of labor. Me thinks the little one likes 7's.
Mom and baby are awesome. Dad did an amazing job through it all. Me, "Gigi", was in there for it all and a nervous wreck, haha.
Guess I'll close out this log, it being the end of the year and all. I am staying with my daughter right now. Have been here a week and half, will be saying longer to help out. Gotta say, sure MISS my van and it's comfort. My own little apartment on wheels in the driveway would have been awesome!! Will have one again, will have one again.... Will be taking little Killian on some adventures some day soon.
