just started traveling in my
85 Toyota Sunrader mini RV.
now in a campground in Key West Florida.
it's great to be able to excape
Ohio before the polar vortex hit.
not ready to boondock but learning
a lot here.
also not planning to be a full timer but hope
to become a snowbird to be able to
travel for extended distances and time.
love my Sunrader, been getting good mpg
just need to get the cabin
set up to my needs and taste,
I'm making it my traveling 'Man Cave'.

I'm a huge fan of the Toyota RVs. If I was going to go the class C route, I would still be scouring Craigslist for one in my price range! Seems like a great vehicle for an aspiring snowbird, and the perfect canvas for your own mobile man cave

thanks to all that have been nice enough to
welcome me to the group.
learning a lot already.
spent last night (Saturday) at a Florida rest stop on
75n just inside Everglades national park.
very nice place to be overnight, pretty much
all by myself. woke up to bagpipes playing
amazing grace in the distance.....nice.
thanks Florida.
drove to Immokalee hoping to find a place
to do some laundry before checking into
the campground Monday. thinking I would
backtrack some to stay at the rest stop
again, but lo and behold a Siminole gambling casino.
other RV's parked in a wide open parking lot.
after doing laundry, wash the RV, back to the
casino...great meatloaf dinner, now ready to
turn in for Sunday evening.
easy drive to campground Monday where I'll
stay till Friday.
Florida's wonderful this time of year, don't
miss Ohio at all, (yet).
feel really fortunate to have my camper to
travel with.
decided to name my RV, 'Mr. Natural'
after the R.Crumb comix character who
used to say, 'Keep on Truckin'.
so that's what we're gonna do.
thanks again members for the nice and
funny comments, you've made me
feel like a part of this group already.

There are a number of Toyota class C in Q...one I saw last year had a motorized bicycle hanging on the back......
