Hey guys, I've lurked for a while and realized this place was too good to pass up.

Circumstances are leading me to take up life on the road temporarily. In the next month give or take, I plan to mildly rig my Ford Escape to be livable for the summer here in the north eastern US.

I'll most likely be pretty active here for that amount of time; the thought of living on wheels intimidates me.

I just thought I'd introduce myself. So, hello.

After a month of it, you may never go back lol
Welcome

many folks on here, including Bob Wells, started van dwelling as a financial necessity, and just said 'F stick n brick living' after a while, no reason to think you won't get addicted, too :D

Welcome!
Got decent space, should be okay! Ask anything you wanna know!

Welcome, please share the spots you find in the Northeast - What is the range you're planning on? I'm planning to spend a month or so camping up there, myself.

Hi! I'm probably going to stay around Ohio for most of my time on the road, but I have some work lined up in New York so I'll be up in that general area for a little while as well. I don't know if I'm going to get too adventurous this first time out on the road as I'm only looking to be out for a few months. I'll probably be doing a lot of stealth camping. I'll let you know if I find any spots worth mentioning.
