Looking for a forum about campers, I found this site.
My name is Lisandro, and I have a Nissan Frontier truck.
I am buying a Camper Travel Lite 610R.
In Argentina, due to economic problems in the country, imports of imported products are restricted.
The availability of imported campers is scarce, and those of national manufacture still do not reach the quality I am looking for. That is why I decided on the Travel Lite that was available on the market
I have traveled through the US and Europe, and I have been able to verify the quality of the campers.

Welcome to the CRVL forums Lisandro! Please tell us about camping in Argentina! I think you are the first Argentinian on the forums.

To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

Pajaro - welcome to the form glad to have you here. Hope you find what you’re looking for I’m going to Google the type of camper you’re talking about just to get myself familiar. How is Boondocking in Argentina are you able to find free spot where you will be hassle free?

I just looked it up it looks like a nice little unit. One thing I’d really like to have as a built-in shower but I just don’t have the room for it. Because I am I might get stuck in that one. LOL

The travellite truck camper looks like an affordable option (at a couple thousand used or $12k to $15k brand new) for getting on the road without doing a build. And no black tank, but room in the wet room to place a cassette or bucket style toilet option. The higher over cab bed with cross ventilation looks cozy, but might want a better mattress. If you can put that on a 4 wheel drive truck, you can go virtually anywhere. Nice option.

Hi Lisandro! Welcome!
I am new here also. It just so happens that I was watching an interesting YouTube by a Argentinian man who has built out his fiberglass topper. The video is called "Truck Shell Camper Walk Through 2020 - Ford Ranger T6 2015 Small pickup truck camper for two". Lots of great ideas.

All the best on your adventure!

Thanks for the welcome.
Camping in Argentina has advantages and disadvantages from my experience ...
The advantages are that in the same country there are many landscapes, from deserts, mountains, sea, Patagonia, rivers, jungles. And all existing climates. Another advantage, especially for foreign visitors, is that the currency exchange favors them, due to the devaluation of our currency (Argentine peso).
The disadvantages are that some areas do not have the necessary infrastructure (and as I have seen in the United States or Europe), which often makes the trip a real adventure.
