Now that I finally have something legitimate to post here!

1992 E350 Extended Club Wagon
146k miles
Was used to transport kids to after school activities.

All that carpet is stinky nasty!  As soon as I get some of the mechanical stuff dealt with that carpet is going to be out like nasty cat litter!

To be honest I may not have much of a build going for awhile.  It rains so often here I'll have to wait at least a month for a decent break to get started(if I want to do more than just a few hours a day when it isn't pouring) let alone be able to keep going.  I may just throw a bunch of crap in and get out of here so I can do something in decent weather.

But then I'll have to carry tools and such that will be taking up valuable space.  I'm not sure what direction I should go in but I'm pretty sure I don't want to stay here any longer than I have to.  Your advice is welcomed.

And now you have a thread and some van porn.

A blank canvas.. A good way to start. It will be nice to follow your progress. Salute'

Don't let your eyes deceive you!  It's pretty damp in there.  I'd LOVE swivel seats!  I like the seats in it now because they are cloth but they don't swivel.

About 3/4 of it was until a brake started to lock up intermittently.  I believe the suspect is the passenger front because of the way the steering was behaving.  Just spent $650 in OEM parts today but about $130 of that is core charges.  The parts will be installed on Monday.  Then Wednesday it goes in regarding the serpentine belt, LOF and if there's any money left to fix the drivers side window motor because it's not rolling up or down.  That's pretty important because the mildew stench is pretty strong!

I just realized that the intertior pic makes it look gray like this one is. It really isn't. It has a blue interior.

First thing to figure out after the brakes is how did the water get into the van. Was it parked with the windows down?

I've yet to pull them out, honestly I'm a bit lost at demolition, normally I replace mechanical parts, not interiors

Sweet van! Congrats on the new project, once that stinky carpet gets gone you'll feel like you're really rolling.

Any plans for it? Nice sized van, can even tow!

Congratulations!!! Look forward to following your build:)

Was the after school activity demolition derby? Or did they use the van as a tackling dummy?

If you pass through Pahrump Nv, I can help you with the build out.
Last year I went to Jamie's build out party and had fun with it.

WOW
When you do van porn you start out completely stripped down !

Looks like a great project awaits.
I'm just guessing but the brake prob sounds like a flex line.

No, everything was closed up but the barn doors don't line up proper so there's a gap at the top between the doors and the body.  I suspect there and the windshield but I'll know after I get the carpet and pad ripped out.  I bought a pretty cool utility knife today so I can cut out pieces to bag up for the dump and I'll get to the bolts as weather and time permit.  Right now I have to dodge rain storms and it's not allowing me any time to really get going on anything.

Much nicer and cleaner than mine! My seat belts took a T47 star bit

Thanks!  I can pick one up in town.  That will save me some money.  Were the bolts hard to break loose?
