Suggestion for an easy overnite in a metro area: fishing spots. Most metro areas were built along navigable waterways. A short drive along them and you'll see the spots... folks fishing. The cool thing about them is the overnight nature of the sport. It brings back memories of being a kid around Daytona and fishing the canals and intracoastal with my Grandpa.<br /><br />I've used spots like this with success. If you're stuck looking for a place to overnite, travel along the waterway. You'll find a spot.
