John, that just sucks. I'm sending good mojo and positive vibes your way.

I was trying to learn how to send u a cat video and my learning disabilities got in the way :) i seriously was, i thank u for the patience with my technical difficulties.

Again often the only true positive out of.these things is to see how much your presence matters, how many you have affected :)

Great your daughter is there.

I have been thinking for awhile about a ride share kind of thing to rtr. Only problem with that is most of us will not get in a vehicle with another person!

Best wishes and a quick recovery. I always enjoy your posts, except your last one. Sorry to hear of your health issues.

Learning disabilities.  ~~~  Find a teenager or early 20 something and ask.  It is the only way I found out how to work my phone.  I still do not know how to post from mine.   ;)  Not on my priority list.    :) .  Go tho the pone store, or bribe someone at starbucks with a coffee to show you how.  I have only been to starbucks twice in my life.

I received the results of the MRI on line yesterday.

There have been three strokes in the past.  I can only remember two of them.  One was diagnosed as "We cant find anything"  by one Ozarks ER staff, and the other as a "panic attack" by another.  Medical care south of I 40 is a joke.

I went into one ER after an accident, and because they were so overwhelmed I was told I was bruised and sent home.  The next day I went to a different hospital, and they found FOUR broken bones in my right leg and foot.

I will keep on working on my van, as I want to go out on my own terms. That is definitely not sitting and looking at apartments.

Hoping you get better soon, John. I can see you're already on the road to recovery as your sense of humor is still in good working order. The rest of you will follow. Have faith and a little patience. See ya at the next RTR.

Dang, GS, that is rough! Your attitude is inspiring.

I'm keeping your situation in mind as I deal with my knee implant being wonky, if it's infected (as I suspect it could be), I'm looking at 18 months of surgery and rehab... but it's fixable and not the end of the world.

Thanks for the positive influence.

I finally figured out why the title has the NKMO in it.  My cat keeps walking on my laptop checking on me!

I have a service cat!   :D

Yesterday I changed out fan belts.  I put on a pair of shorter belts to bypass the non working AC.  It only took me THREE trips to the parts house, and I ended up replacing the belts there in the parking lot the 3rd time.  I wanted to make sure they fit that time.  :dodgy:

The new Dr put me on blood thinners, so I had a little scratch and was bleeding like a stuck pig!  The looks I was getting as I crawled out from under the van were priceless.  I grabbed some paper towels and  cleaned it up while putting the tools away.

If anyone buys any Renogy panels, keep the foam they are packed with.  That is the perfect ground cover pad to work on a van with.

If anyone needs 4 free spare Dodge van fan belts, (old style) hit me up when you see me.  No sense on throwing away good emergency parts.

I thought we could start training the service cats to go under the vehicles and work for us they are very smart!

:(  No thumbs, and most cats have a attitude about being told what to do.   :dodgy:

Wow I must be part cat.  I never knew.  I do still have both thumbs though.  Sometime all thumbs.

I'm not saying this is right but this is how I do things  because I don't trust modern doctors or there medications , I eat as healthy as I can.
Drink alot of water.
Get out in nature.
I'm not religious but I do believe that there is some kind of creator that put us here , I don't think that humans have enough knowledge to know that there religion Is the right one ,, all religions think that they are right , I accept that I'm not smart enough to know which religion is right , to me one of them may be right , they could all be wrong ,  and like i said i don't think humans are smart enough to know , I pray and give thanks everyday and if all of this doesn't work I see that its my time to go and I'm okay with that because I'm gonna go sooner or later and if nature is going to let you go well its time to go why should I try to resist nature.

DO YOU NOW own a part of the clinic/hospital that ER is attached to?  Sounds like you were lucky to get out alive and find adequate medical care else where........others may not have been as lucky.

I HEAR THAT YOU'RE FRUSTRATED with this new medical game plan you need to deal with.  JUST PLEASE TAKE IT EZ FOR NOW.  It would be terrible for you to have another stroke now...you might not be able to walk away from another so soon.

I'll tell you about a conversation I had numerous times with my oldest and dearest female friend...we met when I was 16ys and she passed away when I was 52ys.   She would say "damn I hate getting old" ....my reply was always "yeah it sucks but not getting older would be worse!"  She lived 3 & 1/2 years  longer than the Dr.s gave her!

This medical scare you have had has made me more aware of my own health......and the dietary changes I need to make.  Queenie had a really bad seizure just a little while ago...I've got to take care of myself or who will take care of her?

I wonder if they make EVA vests for us 2 legged animals............Queenie and I are mutual emotional support animals :)  Take it EZ {or anyway you can get it} Queenie! Stop typing this very minute!

That hospital has a board of directors that is made up of the Good Old Boys in that backwater town. (most of the lawyers)  People travel, an extra 40 miles to avoid it. I know people who have died there.  (Everything covered up)  I am glad to be out of that part of Missouri alive.  That is the same ER that could not find a problem when the paramedics pulled me out of the garden where I collapsed and brought me in after a stroke.
