I would end up making a still, and doing shine! Still get in trouble!

5 gallon glass demijohn. You could use the newer plastic water jugs, but I scored some glass ones. 5 gallons apple juice (I like "not from concentrate"). 1/2 package of American ale yeast, water bubble air trap for top of demijohn. Some kind of siphon hose to 'rack' the cider.
This is even easier than it sounds.
Clean and sanitize demijohn, (I use Clorox and the bath tub shower hose.) Put juice into demijohn, sprinkle yeast on top of juice, insert air lock, store in room temperature with darkening cover until bubbles stop, about 2 or three weeks depending on temperature. siphon the finished liquid leaving the sediment. I put it into the original jars from the juice. Keep it in refrigerator or drink it soon. Mine, with a start of natural 30 grams sugar juice ends at about 10% alcohol. This can be stiffened by freezing to slush and straining the ice crystals from the product. Adding extra sugar and using white wine yeast will also increase the alcohol. Sanitation is important, but like i post, Clorox is cheap. I filter the last of the sediment with coffee filters for a different, yeasty drink. Clears my pimples.
