Howdy.
This is my first post, so hi!
I am very excited because on the 23rd of February I am going to finally move out of my apartment and into a van. This is something that my heart had been telling me to do for a while, it just makes so much sense to me. I have a job but I can see most of my income going into simply renting my apartment and commuting costs, both will be eradicated with this move but with it comes a whole new lifestyle and new challenges. I have been researching this concept for a while, and even was going to do it but got cold feet, this time its really happening and im a little nervous but excited. Im scouring craigslist for a stealth van hopefully like the one pictured.
I hope not only to save $$, but also connect with nature, and just simplify everything.

I look forward to reading all the posts here, lots of info I see.

Welcome and good on ya for making up your mind to do this. I gotta tell you, it is challenging in some ways, but man... it is a lot of fun if you approach it with a good positive mindset. The savings are great and seeing your money go to mostly you is a great feeling. Good luck! These folks on here are some of the best and most competent of van campers. I am learning a lot still and having a good time in my van home (3 months now).
