Yep! I wondered why you were interested in all that 3/8" plate now I know!

actually the bumper is 1/8 except where the winch mounts. that is 1/4 and 1/8 laminated together. but a piece of 3/8 that big is valuable I could make all kinds of things with that. highdesertranger

My shin has bent 1/8" tubing in a 35 MPH crash. Didn't think that was possible as I was told that was acceptable roll cage material, but it sure changed my appreciation of what damage an elk can do at speed. Every thing after that was 1/4" or better. My tree bars started out 1/8" but after getting wedged between two trees they sorta looked like question marks. Once I made every thing heavy enough I needed a bigger engine. Guess that is why everything is becoming a diesel now a days. Mig welds are easier and prettier on 1/8" though. Your bumper looks very nice.

My grill guard is made by Bolinger, a local company that fabricates everything by hand...they produce some awesome stuff.

Push bars? As in bull bars? Brush guards? Moose bumpers?

I have to say I love my massive pipe bumper/truck protector...I live and drive in so many areas where hitting animals is not a case of if but when and how many. Those guards save your vehicle every time.
Show us a picture, please. Montana is also famous for some heavy pipe bumpers guess animal strikes are why.

I tried up loading a couple but they are too big. This is the best on I can find on my blog:

try to sleep in the bed of a crew cab 'compact' truck and you will be asking 'why didn't I get the full 8 foot bed?

Sposed to sleep in the back seat, not the truck bed.

Dumbest thing is carpeting and plush seats, definitely.
