How to secure your image and social presence, that is much more difficult, if the person is a hacker. For all we know, that very person could be reading this right now.

How about if your former employer allowed the personal information of thousands of former employees to be stolen and the "settlement offer" provides nothing (maximum of $300 if you can prove your actual losses).  What if the data thief sits on the information for five years and then strikes well after the former employer is off the hook?

I woke up this morning and found my phone going through my ID. My phone is always asleep while I am asleep so don't know how this can happen. Someone else on here had to put their phone on time out- I guess turn it off and pull out the sim?
