I am still looking for a class B under $10,000. There is a 1994 road trek popular model. Rebuilt trans, brakes, manifold, inspected, new sealed AGM battery, new alarm sensors, new 30 amp cord, new headlight, Gen, & solar panels.  Wants $10,000 but 208,000 miles. The mileage is scary, but the other is a 94 Dodge B, 1994, $9500 97000 miles. Runs great, new brakes, tires, sticker, gen. Help!  Ideas?

It may be a lot of miles, but it sounds like that person (family) used the van for many years of long, cross-country, trips and that is a good thing. The worst thing you can do to a automobile is park it for any length of time. They are built to be on... moving... lubricated. When not moving, they are decomposing at a fast rate.

If you have gone 200,000 miles in your vehicle, you must have taken care of it. However, you can't then go and ask normal going rates for it either. Offer lower (8,000?) and see what happens. Save the 2K for an engine rebuild if it needs it. Sounds like he has the trans and brakes covered, so why not?

Bring it to a good mechanic. He can tell you within a few minutes if the engine will need fixing right away or if you can get some years out of it first.

Van Tramp, a great answer thank you so much. That is what I will do.
