An old saying... Whatever you do, good or bad, people will always have something negative to say.

I don’t know what my plans name is or if it even has a name.

what is a forum with sensor ship

Two?

The plans I have left are the Mobley, PC's for people and 4GAS, plus the Freedompop freebies. No more grey for Jimi.

It really gets to you that the forum does not want to make it appear as if they approve of illegal activity.

Thumbs up and thank for that post Jim. Where are my buttons? I thought the thank button was coming back..

I have one of the MiFi 4620 , flash to 3G .
Looking to see what to un-flash and use for another service provider , haven't picked one yet ?
But looking at PC's for people , I am below the income level .
Then need to check if the MiFi works on the same operating system as PC's for People ?

Don't think there is any unflashing.

OS is not relevant to the cell service nor hotspots, they are just simple firmware plugs into whatever platform you want.

Sprint has very poor geographic coverage in many remote country areas.

VZW and ATT are best that way.

Likewise looking to see if 4620 can be reflashed/unflashed/reset to original. But am fearing it is just too old for much practical use even unflashed.

Don’t know if 4620 contains the proper bands (antennas) for sprint service. Have to look at 4620 bands (operating system) and then compare to what Sprint uses.
Think the 4620 just covers Verizon bands so you probably should get the hotspot that PC for P sells.

Operating system is a completely different meaning from the radio frequency bands the cell provider uses.

OS means, Android, Linux, Windows, macOS, iOS, etc.

No VZW device will work on Sprint and vice versa.

"Unlocked GSM" is international, ATT in the US, and somewhat T-mobile but not the newer 4G bands.

For hotspots, you need to buy one designed for the network you want to use.

Went and bought into the PC's for people - including the hotspot .
Did some checking , funny how searching for details - mostly responds with adds - not technical info - for matching things ;)
Ya , Verizon & Sprint do not match up .
And PC's for people - only use there devices - will not use anything else .
Using now for this post , haven't done any testing , but it seems ok , and only $10 per month [ low income is a must ] with yr. paid in advance - a little bit of an issue paying $200 upfront for low income ?

If someone wants or needs it they'll find the money... you did.

You now have internet for the next year! Congratulations!

Hi, i have an updated since that unfortunate verizon mifi jetpack from ebay seller glselectronics. I return it and had ebay refund my money. Now I signed up with pcsforpeople and paid 179 dollars for a whole year including the hotspot. There was a 10% coupon code -backtoschool10. So, far the internet works great and so much cheaper. Thanks for the suggestion.
