BLM land east of Oakoasis County Preserve (CA)

According to the Public Lands app, there is a block of BLM land east of the Oakoasis County Preserve near Santee, California in San Diego county. I may be in the San Diego area in April and am interested in hearing from those who are familiar with this area and willing to share a good boondocking site. I just Googled Oakoasis County Preserve and found many reviews for camping, hiking...I have not been there. Not sure, but reviews lead me to think that it may only be only a group camp spot.

It is not the Oakoasis County Preserve that i am interested in. I am looking for some help finding a good boondocking site on the BLM land to the east of that location. A Google maps satellite view of the area shows it to be rugged terrain so i thought advice from someone who is familiar with that particular patch of BLM land would be helpful.
