I'm thinking about setting up a 3d target course on my land.It would cost about $1200 plus the labor to clear shooting lanes. If 20 people a week would pay $5 to shoot,I could recoup the money in about 3 months.

I know this an older post but........
Check with archery organizations
IBO~ International Bowhunter Organization
NSSF~ National Shooting Sports Foundation
NFAA~ National Field Archers Association
there are many other ones I'm sure.

I've dabbled in archery myself, mainly in the Society for Creative Anachronism (medieval re-enactment). I also have a recurve (an old Hoyt Pro Medalist) and with the help of my archery mentor I made my own arrows. So for me, I'd just look for SCA events that have archery in my travels. But I also have the funny medieval clothes to go with it!

I used a recurve years ago in my youth and had a lot of fun. Been meaning to buy another and start training/practicing.

I found this video a few months ago and found it astonishing and motivating!
