Hi,
We're Elise and Rick. We're contracting out peices of our van build. Our 170 Sprinter has a solar and water system. We're looking for contractors in th PNW to install a hydronic system for air heat and hot water. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

Welcome Elise and Rick. Be super thorough when screening the carpenters. Be sure to look at an example of their work (IRL, not just photos) and get references.

/\...Excellent advice!
Waaaay too many shoddy craftspeople and outright scammers out there fishing for an unsuspecting "sucker" to grab onto their poison bait.

Welcome to the site and please do your due diligence when considering an outside entity to perform work on your vehicle.

If you find someone, please try to get pics of the work as there are many who could benefit from the educational content in a pictorial form...

There are still Custom Van Clubs (not the Nomad Rigs we discuss here). These are like the late 60's and early 70's fancy custom Vans. You may find leads from them where you could find carpenters & electricians who could do that build out for you. They would know those who wold have plenty of experience. Since you are in Illinois you aren't too far from northern Indiana where Elkhart Indiana is a leading RV building area.

You may find a shop there who could take your contract turn key.

Just a thought. ;) And welcome to the Van Living forum by the way :)

Sorry.....thought you were in Illinois.

BUT.....California is a major RV manufacturing state too. Cali and Indiana have been the two leaders. You may do some Google searching and emailing and find a facility on the west coast.

I found this one within a few clicks:

Oregon Motor Coach Center
