Update:

Well...last time i posted here i told you i was gonna take a break from my stressing out...........so i went into my little art studio & started working on my bead projects....i managed to get a mala & a necklace done.....THEN OUT THE BLUE i get a phone call from a social worker i've been working with from the VA....and she told me if i want to get help fast I WILL HAVE TO FLEE MY SITUATION ....and they will put me in temporary housing (a hotel room).   So i had less than an hour to get my shit together & meet her & sign paperwork & go to this hotel to live until i can get into a subsidized apartment.....

I was under soooooooo much stress to hurry myself & do this....BUT... i DID IT...and spent the night in that hotel room....BUT THE NEXT DAY I LEFT & WENT BACK TO "MY" HOUSE BECAUSE I COULD SEE THAT I WOULD BE LIVING IN POVERTY FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE !!!   Then i FREAKED OUT AGAIN because i don't want to live in poverty !!!!

So I AM BACK AT THE HOUSE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's so much more to what happened....but i will spare you the details, as it is very detrimental to the guy i am trying to flee from.....and not fair to speak about him on a public form....

Funny how when i tried to take a break from stress....then all hell breaks loose....

So i am once again stressed out to the max .

BUT :

i made 3 mala's and one necklace....one mala & necklace were commissioned by a Buddhist friend & i had so much FUN making the mala's i made two more.....i forgot to take a photo of the first one i made (the first mala i EVER MADE), and i forgot to take a photo of the beautiful necklace i made.....but i did take photo's of the last two i made......i will post them soon....in a few minutes...as i am on my laptop now & will post from my phone......

Randy Vining.

I first came across Bob in the documentary "Without Bounds", the docu also featured Randy. He seemed like a nice guy with a lot of stories to tell, and very inspirational, and also a great poet. I was wondering if he is still running with the pack, or of anyone knows how he is doing?

I'm watching this right now and enjoying it very much.  Thanks for mentioning it!

The one on top is made from Carnelian & Jet (knotted between each bead) I also MADE the tassels !
The second one is made from ALL Carnelian

108 beads in each mala
plus one "guru" bead

Like so many other things in life it seems to be all about the money. So are you better off with the money or better off without the money?  Seems that you've chosen, so now it's time to make the most of it.

I WISH  it was that simple !
I am worn out now....but I KNOW I WILL CHANGE MY MIND AGAIN !!!

Well, maybe you should think about the social worker who is trying to help you.

They probably would prefer that you stay with one thing or the other. Their time and effort could maybe be better spent helping someone else who would stick to a program.

It is not uncommon for women in these situations to do what i do...i just got off the video session with my social worker a minute ago.....they are "standing by " for me.. no matter what my decision is....they are there to help me.

You're welcome. :) Its a glimpse back in time, before much of this all began. Bob still even had a bit of color in his beard. lol

You'll see Randy. Really cool guy, and definitely one i had hoped to meet at the RTR or something someday. Definitely not at the expense of his privacy though. I just hope he's doing well. Check out his book "40 Years a Nomad" if you can. A lot of great stories and information in there.

TA, I've also missed you and am glad you are back on the nomad track!

Jimindenver had the possinle answer to why my generator is not running properly. To work in Flagsraff it will need a high altitude kit which means the jets in the carburater need to get exchanged to ones that are a different diameter opening to regulate the fuel. I sure am learning lots of unexpected technical stuff. A local company here in Flagstaff is taking on figuring out the kit that goes on my generator using the serial number. Now I will need to see if there is a kit for my Westinghouse igen.

But first it is time to leave for a potluck at my friends campsite, happy birthday event but I dont know the birtday girl

Hi I’m still on top of Bower mountain in Perry County PA I got a better picture to show you of the view right outside my van doors. Millionaires would covet such a view. I’m afraid I brag about this place so much that I’m going to try to register again and all the sites will be filled because of the CRVL nomads. If that happens remember I have seniority and first pick. I know the Ranger and his boss.  God bless all the nomads, me first please. ;)

Gypsy, your malas are GORGEOUS!! Get that Etsy store filled up!

Did you take those gorgeous pix to highlight your jewelry? IIRC, that
pic I saw was tons better than most pix for Etsy stores.

haha even his voice sounds different!

Randy is a hell of a poet, I was transfixed watching him recite that poem!

Gypsy108 the 1st night of a majpr lifestyle change alone in a hotel room or on the road is enough to freak many people out. If you did not anticipate such a reaction you would not understand that the despair and "what have I gotten myself into?" can be a perfectly normal reaction. I have had that happen to me when I was moving cross country to a new job and had disabiling car trouble. I was crying and in tears, all alone in a city. I am not prone to weepy crying but stress can do that to even strong people. It is very tough and scary letting go of the known and launching off without much of a support system. I don't know how to instill the fortitude into you that it takes to make a major change. No one in this forum can make you accomplish such a thing. It will either come by your own behavior resulting in girding up your courage or else your behavior will end up with you getting kicked out of your current home. Hopefully you won't self destruct before you take the sensible path and put some real effort and time working with that counselor. She gave you a safety network but you are afraid to take the leap into the unkown. Get more counseling about that, it is common among abused women. But remember, this forum does not offer the kind of counseling you need. You must get to the right place for that. Then think about changing how you live. First things first.

I'm in agreement with Maki on this Gypsy,

I won't add a thing because she said it all, I don't know that there is a God or not, but I pray sometimes as if there is someone there listening, and I will pray for you, Denise

That is a Western Fence Lizard, common name Blue Belly Lizard. Very common throughout the west from sea level to alpine mountains.

Ravella and x - thanks for sharing, I’m not gonna gamble with you but someday I’m going to get out and see the Western states. I have to admit I just love these eastern hardwood forests all the green, the fragrance, the animals, the wildflowers. Today I shot pictures of a roughed grouse(PA state bird) in full display and got a few pictures of the very first open mountain laurel ( PA state ?) in this area. Now I have to take those out of my good camera and edit them small enough for this forum. Aren’t we glad that we all have places we love. It sure is a beautiful world. By the way I want to invite you to come east and enjoy our forests as long as you bring your breadmaking stuff with you because I could eat some sourdough.
