I mentioned that I had just put in two 140 watt solar panels. I also have the Renogy 100 watt solar suitcase ($$$).  The panels I got were Solar Cynergy from Solarblvd and I'm pleased and impressed for the $112 a panel cost.  I wandered over to their site tonight to look at the numbers I should be getting amp wise and the output was spot on using my clamp multimeter.

While there, I saw that they have a 160 watt Solar Cynergy portable solar panel for the $179.  I checked the shipping for my home in Tucson and it is $22.

One most important part of buying my panels, aside from what I see and how they work was SolarBlvd's customer service. As a total neophyte, I had a question and called them up. They immediately answered and transferred me to technical support. The guy spoke very understandable American English (important in technical communication), and got the answer to me quickly, calling me back in a matter of minutes.  I was able to send a photo of my question (my lack of knowledge) to him and he offered to have someone there make a video right then on the spot and email it to me. By that time, I had gotten my question answered, so the video wasn't needed.

But, for that kind of immediate customer service, they deserve five stars.  The quality seems might fine to me too.

damn good deal especially since they're 17.0v panels.

That what I have. The only thing different from the Renogy is that you have to connect the wires to the panel. A small price to pay for what I received.

it says it has a junction box with MC4's

Yeah, it does have them. You just have to cut the ends off (so you have two males and females, strip the wires) and then connect them. Not a problem. That's it.
