i've been looking at the 12 volt heater fan. saw one at wally world but it said not for use with cigarette lighters. does anyone know of one that does? (fair to midland pricewise)

Many many moons ago I got a ciggy plug powered heater from Harbor freight.<br><br>Waste of money. &nbsp;It always smelled, and tried to melt the ciggy plug.<br><br>Battery powered heating is not viable. &nbsp;Resistance heating consumes way too much power.

its not for me or van dwelling. its for my oldest son. his motor is out on his heater blower and he can't afford to fix it right now. (new job). he needs to defrost his windshield.<br><br>i got him some rainx wipe on, was told by a friend to put that on the inside and it would help.<br><br>what do you think? any other ideas he might try? he doesn't want to use a candle in a can in the car as he usually has his dog with him.
