Thinking this unit might work well for me...what do you think about buying a refurbished unit from renogy but shipped from amazon prime (quicker shipping I think?) Can also order direct from renogy.    Making a decision on purchasing solar has been very very very hard! I’m not technical minded so please KISS !!!

Thanks! Think I will but now....should I order longer cables? I will just use alligator clips to battery then out window to set in sun. It only comes with 10ft. How will I know what cable to order???

Do the ends need to be male/ female connectors? This decision is sooooooo nerve Racking! I so want to get this over and done with! Ah heck....I’m just going to order the kit and be done. I can worry about extension cables later.

I bought one from Ebay. Hard to tell why it is a refurb. Looks new. I'm sure you'll be fine through Amazon, too.

I have one of these although not a refurb. It works well for my needs, but I don’t know about you. You asked about extension cables and that is one thing I plan on getting. The original cables are a tad short. I live in the east and the short cables don’t always reach to where the sun is. If you live in a less tree covered area, the original cables may be fine.
I’m also looking to change from the alligator clips to something else as my battery is in the step coming in the door. Works fine except the door closes on the wires and so you can’t close the door while charging. Fine in good weather, but sucks when it’s cold.
