    Giving kudos

So I'm at the RTR, my first and my first staying in the van. I'm finding it much more challenging than I thought. Oh, I knew it wouldn't be easy but I didn't factor in how much we take for granted in S&B living like walking upright. I'm not sure I have what it takes to live in a van, the pain is...

Women Only: Missed part of orientation

And the part I made I couldn't hear. So I'm asking if anyone knows where we are supposed to dump our trash and toilet... I'm in a van no grey/black tanks. Sorry to ask but I went into town and took care of what I had but it seemed inappropriate to dump toilet contents (even bagged) in a...

    Where did I put it?

Arrived at the RTR yesterday. I'm amazed how easy it is to lose things in a van ... Chuckle. 4 times now I've misplaced my glasses just this morning alone ... Strikes me as funny. 8+)

Women Only: No screen on windows in van

I bought a roll of screening thinking I could use magnets to hold the screen to the metal on the door around the windows - must have purchased cheap magnets because they didn't hold.  Any suggestions? Thought about double sided removable clear tape but that might be pricy ... any of you ladies...

What 3 most important items to start

Besides a luggable loo, a bed and a cook stove, what are the 3 most important items you found to be necessary to embark on your travels? I need to financially focus on the most important items so I can make the 2018 RTR.  So what's your opinion/experience in this area?

WOMENS' FORUM: Do you have any problems sleeping when you're out

Hopefully I'll be out and traveling by this time next year will for sure be at the RTR, my first!  I've got my van but haven't had the desire to do anything to it yet to get it trip worthy. My mind is going in circles about what I need to buy first with my limited income but then it focuses on...

    Pay Rent or Finance RV

Okay, I'm at the point where I need to make this whole thing real!  Since the other RV deal fell through I've been racking my brain on what to do.  In about a month I'll be without a roof over the head unless I rent a low income senior apartment ($655+elec) OR finance an...

    1992 Coachman Catalina Sport

Any thoughts on this one?  It looks good and it reads good, but I'd have to take an over night trip to see it, but if it's good ... might be worth it. But I think $7500 is too much, perhaps $5800? https://showlow.craigslist.org/rvs/5569158815.html

Change of Heart - No RV - Moving too fast

Well, the bank called and suddenly they'll loan 5K less than previously approved for, so I said never mind. Called the seller and told them and now I'm looking for an apartment.  Sooo, I'm still RV Hopeful ...  :( a year down the road. This'll give me time to pay off my dental stuff and start...

No Ladder? Shouldn't it have a ladder?

Still waiting to hear from the bank re: loan for '06 Jamboree 29V ... it doesn't have a ladder on the back.  When I look at other pictures of the same unit, it has a ladder.  I sorta brushed that off in the beginning but the longer I wait to hear from the bank, the longer it REALLLLLY bothers...

Driver's License, Mail, Etc Your Opinion

My DL expires in 2017, I was thinking about doing an early renew so I could use my current address and renew for the max of 8 yrs. Is that a good idea or does it really matter?   I'm not sure where I'm going to finally "domicile" and in the short term I'm thinking about using UPS Mail Boxes Etc...

THIS IS THE GIRLS' ROOM!!! Downsizing is HARD! Immobilized!

Ya'll, the entire forum in fact, are probably tired of my random and off the wall postings. (that is if anyone really pays attention- chuckle). One minute I'm rushing to figure out how to quickly convert my car to go help my brother, the next minute I'm facing new partials, dog medical bills...
