Well, its been a nice Thanksgiving in Q.
We heard RTR camp had a good dinner and folks had a fun time over there.
Wish we could have made it, but had a commitment we couldn't wiggle out of since we're camp hosts.

So, as we head to bed we are thankful many of the clan were able to gather in a sharing way.

For those of you on the fence about coming to the Q, I would offer this enticement. Don't spread this around but I have been told that the RTR has hot tubs this year. That's right decadent, portable hot tubs, complete with tiki torches and mood music. I think they all have a theme. Maybe some of you who are already there can enlighten us as to the different ambiences.

Hot tubs sound great, does that include massages too??
A hot soak can entice me to drive miles out of our way.
Nekkie bodies, mood music and romantic lighting is too much to resist :)

Went over to Len's place today. He showed us some good LED solutions for our needs. We can get more lumens for our buck than I expected. He didn't try to over sell us at all.
He looks forward to seeing you again.

Are you planting a seed here? I'm all up but where does the water come from Artesian wells? Coed? clothing optional? Lets mix the old guys with the young gals' or the young gals with the old guys whatever way you want.
lol no Gee strings

Lynns a good guy, and very knowledgeable. I think I also mentioned for someone looking for ham stuff, he's the guy.

I just might be able to get there if we mix the old gals with the young guys. Yeah, I know, sexist and not politically correct.

I don't care if it is sexist and not politically correct...I vote with dragonflyinthesky! *laugh*

Don't forget to have some lively road music handy as you wave bye bye in your rear view mirror. Smile and wish the old town well.

Crank it up and sing :)

Love it. Thank you. I gave my notice with my rent check yesterday. Now I HAVE to do this. Still bunches of work to get out of here, but now I had better get movin'..... Yippee!!!

For you folks in Q, and the ones who will be there. On 95 north almost out of town there is a restaurant on the east side of the hiway called the Grubstake. Before January when the town fills up and you can't get into a restaurant check it out. The fish and chips are great and the large is big enough to share. Place doesn't look like much but the food is good!

Wunderground has Q at 28° tonight, winds 10-15 out of the north. Does that sound right?

28 to 30 degrees at Q at night??? Dang! It's around 33 to 37 in my hood, and that's already plenty cold for me.

Yup, that's about what we're expecting tonight. Not much better the next few, but should be back up to something like the usual temps....60s/mid to upper 30s mostly sunny. Wind out of the north at around 20mph makes it feel colder. Jacket, fleece, knit hat, and gloves make it tolerable for my skinny body.

I've heard of some pretty unusual weather in several parts of the country, like snow in Calif where it doesn't often happen.
I'm from the southwest and adopted Az as my home years ago, I like warm sun (don't mind heat).
Margie is from Portland/Astoria, Or. After about 3 yrs she has become acclimated to the Az desert.
We're ready for this cold blast to to peter out.
