Where will YOU be spending this winter?

I had a brother-in-law, just exactly a year ago, in hospice. He made it through Thanksgiving but not to Christmas. Cancer you know. My Sis. is only 50 she has had a tough year. I drove 100 miles every weekend to give My Bro. in law Reiki treatments for the last two or three months. He said it helped his mind more than anything. We do what we can. father in law is in hospice, we are carring for him, so this winter I will be here in the Mohave desert with no travel plans. My feet are itchy already with the gas at $2.79 per gallon. It hit 49 degrees last night, time to get the longjohns out!

If you are doing FAMILY CARE GIVER work or WELL SPOUSE CARE GIVER work make sure you get support also. There are organizations and groups that help each other deal with the hard reality of that lifestyle. No reason to deal with this alone. Even if you can't get relatives and siblings to help, there is support available.
