I have a 2006 Jetta TDI I want to try out for extended durations this year.  What configuration do you use for laying down/sleeping?

I have a 30" wide 4" xx firm natural latex  pad a small Yetti and a coleman, sorry it took so long o respond

I have decided to go with the Toyota Prius. The main reasons being the super gas mileage and the ability to have economical climate control. I am going to carry a tall tent or a tarp to give me room to move about in bad weather. Thanks to everyone for their input.

We have a 2005 XB, and we freeking LOVE IT!!

X2 on the 2005 XB.  I was a project manager for a company for three years and that was my company car.  Got to take it home/use it as my own for those three years and I was overly impressed with its ability, comfort, interior space and all around design.  It had no problem getting me to the jobsites over three new england winters and I def got it places I thought for sure I'd never get out of.
