She is not old at all. Get her checked out by a mechanic and it may take you another 100,000 miles. I dont know what V8 Ford put in those things, but a 302ci (5.0 liter) would be about right for 150. That is a great motor.

It looks like it could be a good van. But, can you stand up in it? Does that matter to you? I'd want to take the hack seat out of it to make more room. I don't like all the windows, but maybe you do. I'd rather get a cargo van, but conversion vans are cool too and some people like them. If you're not in a hurry you could offer him $2900 or such. Lots of those vans had 6 cyl engines, which work fine.
