Haven't posted in a while. Steady, slow progress on van build. 2013 Ford E350 passenger with Fiberine high top. Phase 1 'cause sometimes this takes longer than one expects (late April original deadline). Here are 3 photo updates taken at different points:
This one gives you an idea of the floor plan with much of the bed-couch (lengthwise) missing, swivel passenger seat, and water tank partially in side door area (extra seat). Electric kitchen - dual induction cook top, convection microwave, & Truck Fridge 4.2 CF.
Showing the nice laminate flooring (Home Depot bought) with better idea of front layout in distance (30 gallon fresh water, multiple 5.5 gallon gray water).
Ceiling with window AC unit above rear doors mounted in van high top. Originally had mini-split plans, but just proved too bulky. That is metal. Some welding done for the rig. Pole-wrap covers ugly van/high top seam. Pole-wrap is the miracle solution for odd shaped, odd angled areas. Pretty much an entire van build!
I have 2 inches of poly iso rigid board in the ceiling. Most of the walls 1 inch and/or spray foam in the void spaces. Lots of spray foam in interior void, like 40 cans worth. Lithium batteries and beefy inverter to run all this off grid (someday).
This is mainly my friend Sarah's work, so I cannot take a lot of credit
