That is what we need. US citizens going to Canada and breaking their laws.

Looks like it is purchased online or from offsite vendors:

$10 CDN is about $7.50USD right now, which seems a little high for one night of boondocking but it's their land. Would be nice if they had reciprocity with the US since we let our Canadian friends camp for free. :)

Only tangentially-related: when I lived in Germany everyone would pay the s-bahn (streetcar) fee at the machine even though there was no one to check for tickets. On precisely 1 trip in 4 years a ticket-checker stepped on board at the back -- a husky and serious uniformed matron. Everyone took out their tickets except one streetpunk* who launched out of his seat and jumped a low concrete wall.

The lady had seen him react and was already turning toward the door nearest her. She dove over the wall and flying-tackled the kid down onto the sidewalk. I mouthed "holy sh*t!!!" but the other riders had a nonchalant "he zhould haf vollowed zee ruless" expression.

* not being derogatory; that was the self-described term

Trust me, I live in FL, and there are plenty of Canadians down here breaking our laws too. Sometimes I wonder if Canadian "niceness" is just a way to get away with doing things they shouldn't be doing. They are very nice, most of the time, so nobody much messes with them, even when they are breaking the law.
