Hi folks
Just wondering if someone here might have the answer to a couple of upholstery questions I have
- first some detail.
I'm making a 2000cm x 125cm bed that folds into a bench seat in 4 sections. Each section will be 50cm x 125cm. I'll be using 12.5cm foam covered with tetron and faux leather. I'm planning to use a 120cm x 45cm x 5mm plywood base. The aim of the 2.5cm margin is to give the edged a softer feel
Questions
1 - is the 2.5cm margin around the base a sensible idea
2 - how much do I need to allow for the tetron and faux leather if I want a 50cm x 125cm finished cushion?
Thanks in advance for any help
