I don't know about you, but I have six or seven different status lights on things like my charge controller and fridge. It's not really a problem for me but some people who are trying to be super stealthy or who just can't sleep with any lights on might have use for this product I saw — little black, precut, self-adhesive stickers of various sizes.  :D :p

Oh, sure, you could just use bits of duct tape, but that's not at all classy. :D  :) :p

Some of those tiny lights are really bright once you turn everything else off! I'm not comfortable with regular alarm clocks anymore because of it. I need to use my tablet.

I use black electrical tape for this. Easy to cut into multiple layers.

I've used (blue) painter's tape for times when I wanted the status light to be dimmer but still visible. Red painter's tape would probably be better, as blue light interferes more with sleep quality. OTOH, blue tape would probably be a bit stealthier (when I was stationed at Ft. Bragg, we used blue-lens flashlights at night, as the blue light more closely resembled moonlight).

I use painter's tape in lots of places, like on furniture corners by my entryway to lessen wear and tear in my trailer. You can always double it if light keeps shining through. So far it has always come off clean, and I like that a lot.
