toe dipping lurker

I'm about 10 years out from retirement and transitioning to full time nomadic life.  I figure now would be a good time to start toe dipping with weekend trips and a vacation here and there. Currently drive a Subaru Impreza and have some done some hammock camping in state and national park camp grounds.  I haven't done anything too serious so far.  Just soaking up all the wisdom and experience on the forums right now.
