Okay - lets assume I am starting from point zero. I have a job, but want to invest my resources (savings, intelligence, motivation, good current health) into a change into this lifestyle.

Thinking RV because I can change locations and bring it all with me, if I change jobs, or if some personal event (family crisis) means I need to do this.

Also thinking that putting money into a savings account, (beyond the normal 401k) is kind of silly. It does not teach me to live easier.

Am 50 now. So would like to convert to this lifestyle in six months or less.

So all you tip providers (tipsters) please throw the suggestions at me.

Also thinking that retirement is kind of a 50-50 coin toss to so many, and they do not realize it.

What I mean is at age 60 you really have a low chance of being completely healthy until you pass away. Healthy physically, or healthy financially. If you do the classic retirement. The system will work to take all your money, as soon as you have a major health crisis. It is the way of America. Major health crisis is just forgetting to pay a single insurance bill. Sometimes think that it is all a house of sticks, ready for the wolf to blow your savings away.

Still the rest of the 90% of the world lives in this crisis, so might as well learn it; and then go experience the rest of the world while I have good health.

Welcome! Sooner rather than later is better.

A lot of people struggle with the traditional "work till you almost die and then retire"... I noticed that the people who really push a person to work...invest.. work... invest...work more... invest more... were mostly bankers and investment brokers.

I've had some health problems (diabetes, mainly) and even though it's under control, for a long time I was very sick and at high risk for an early death. That's why I started truly living a little over a year ago... It is FUN and it gives you a chance to live healthier, too.

I think you're wise for choosing to enjoy life NOW. They way this old world is going (economy, wars, climate problems, inflation), sooner is better than later. There's no gurantee where we will be tomorrow. It's nice to enjoy today.

Have an awesome day!

V.T.
