It began last weekend. I'll be going this Saturday. Maybe a couple more times before the end of this years festivities in late May.

I just wish there were multi-day options that included overnight parking. Unfortunately there is no overnight parking in the immediate
area of the event.

I've never been to a large Ren-Fair but have wandered thru a couple of smaller local ones.

Please take a few pics and post them here, nice diversion for us.

I think the largest Ren-Fair in the country is in Texas...

Over night multi-day tickets and camping... Lots of after-hours activity.
On my bucket list for sure.

The one here in So Cal is the oldest I think (at least in the USA)...

Make sure you have plenty of gas in your tank before leaving the grounds (unless you drive a hybrid). If you camp, look into which areas cater to families vs. late-night groups. Enjoy!

The Texas Ren Fest is just a short drive from my nephews home in Magnolia. Maybe someday I will make it there. But not this year. I had my going to Ren Fair years in the 1970s and 1980s but have not been to one in many years. My son grew up participating in them as one of the actors. He loves dressing up in costumes and doing mock battles. That is a big foundational part of his becoming a professional creator of RPG games.
