" . . . but I'm not really good at it." WHAT!? Cammula, your little creatures and dolls are precious! I just do not understand an artists mid-set. My Mother would say the same . . . for years I "fished out" her "scribbles" from the trash and saved them. When she passed I made a collage of them and gave it to my Father for Christmas . . . he was overwhelmed with emotion. You are a wonderful, creative person and it's obvious you have love expressed in your creations. Thank you for sharing and encouraging me (((Hugs)))

Ah Jannette but u see below what I have to compare mine to. I grabbed a photo shot over at etsy to show you what can really be achieved with a bit of wool. I have taught countless people to do this and it really only takes a few minutes to learn. It's just tufts of wool with a needle that has a barb on the end and you just kinda push everything into place.

In all honestly, Cammalu, I prefer your work!

Jannette, have you considered knitting or crochet? You can always work in colors you are able to distinguish. :)

There are quite a few incredible artist who design and create 3D art exclusively in white paper. It does not take a lot of tools, money or space to turn 2D pieces of paper into 3D art pieces. I myself work in white paper creating miniature 3D buildings by cutting and folding. The purity of the white paper creates a lot of interplay of shadows and highlights. It is a very beautiful material, adding color would take away from its beauty. Sculpture is very much an art form that can be done with one single color and not suffer from it.
