RTR question

Is it to windy to put ups screen tent during the RTR. I maybe coming in a car and want some where else to set besides in my car

you need to stake them down real good. a lot of people use them at RTR, you really don't need the screen part there are no bugs that time of year. highdesertranger

No bugs?  I love the place already.

Thanks for replying I didn’t know there weren’t many bugs I was worried about rain and something to set in and not be cramped in my car and of course for shade

I'll be in a car too. I'm considering tents now.. and thought a tent with screen room would be nice. Even if there's no need for protection from bugs, I might need shelter from the sunshine, and a privacy room (or two or three) would be essential.

Maybe it could keep loose dogs from running through your set-up, too.

My 10' x 14' Kodiac tent has 2 large screen windows on both sides and a vent on both ends. When open it is close to being a screen tent, just more durable.
