Did she have a crystal ball to say how hard yer life would be?
When regarding the future, rose colored glasses are more comfortable than facts. If you talk to the wise old ones, they will tell you that current events mirror past history, but not in a good way. Oops, my rose colored glasses slipped again.

How often does/did she remind you of those 36 hours?

But in a good way I'm sure. I also had a difficult journey and then won all the ugly baby contests. Mom took care of another baby who was two weeks younger. When complimented on her twins, she would say we were two weeks apart, to the puzzlement of everyone.

PARTR as an event is no more, no west coast van build and no camping RTR, dark days indeed!

No van build, yes.

Where do you get the PaRTR and the RTR stuff?

I believe the boondocking bash is still on.

2021 is likely to be different due Covid. I’m planning on isolating, but I’ll still be at Skaddan, middle of January.

Facebook page by Tyll, Nomad Center Camp. I do not believe there will a boondockers bash either, that was I think Tyll (who provided the 2 teepees, the chow tent the music, and Jimi (almost happy camper). The tents are all in bad shape and Tyll is moving on to enjoying time with his GF, it was a lot of work for him to run those events. Also my buddy Tom, Hobotech, his van caught on fire today as he was traveling so Camp Hobotech is not for sure. RTR there is absolutely no one pushing for or mentioning it, I doubt there is any way it can be put together in short notice unless a benefactor with a lot of private land comes out to host it.\Just the camping together RTR stuff IMHO they may still have the lectures.
