While there is no question about the Lifelines superiority, I rarely recommend them unless you are an experienced solar guy and can baby them to make them worth the money. I've seen them destroyed in the first year and often see them fail to get to 3 years. Never the fault of the battery--but what difference does that make? It was still a lot of money thrown away that didn't need to me.

Your planned choices are excellent--go for them!!

damn near recommending the $50 starting batteries at walmart for that reason. **** for one of those AGM's you can build a 400ah+ bank.

Still better off spending $180 for 200+AH of true deep cycling FLA, much more resistant of ill treatment.

The Wally stuff won't last near half as long no matter how well you treat it.
