So forgive my random question and ignorance, but is there any use for leftover Reflectix pieces? Like would it be if any use to fill empty cavities in the doors with it, or is it pointless and should just never trashed? The pieces aren’t big enough for insulated goodbyes packs or anything. Any thoughts appreciated. I hate wasting stuff if I can help it.

Same as the bubble wrap after you unpack an Amazon purchase.

Is there anything you want to keep cool or warm OUTSIDE your vehicle or domicile/vehicle?

Reflectix around a generator, for example, should be great in keeping the heat under control.

Doesn't reflectics melt like plastic under temperature?  I thought it was combustible, but have never tried it.      ~crofter

I don't know at what temp but yes the inside plastic will melt. it won't melt in the sun but if you get it hot enough it will melt. highdesertranger

Refletix is not all that good as insulation.

It is not an insulation at all.

Just a radiant barrier, and sometimes used as a vapor barrier.
