We have sold half of our belongings, the house is on the market and we bought a used extended van. As soon as the house sells we will be out there with all you brave souls. We tried 1 month of tent camping a year ago and decided something with solid sides would be a better way to go. So happy to find this site. I am learning so much. The quote on the home page about regretting only what you have not done gave me more confidence in our decision. Thanks for managing such a great website. Hope to meet up with some of you in the next year.

Dave and June

Welcome to the site and the wonderful life of mobiledwelling.
This isn't our first time to take to the road, but I doubt we'll go back to a fixed location. We're getting older and to us it matters not where our bones lay in the end as long as we're happy up till that time.
This may not be our last rig and whatever we have will be our home no matter where we are...and, that's always subject to change :)

Look forward to seeing y'all down the road soon.

Hello and welcome Dave and June,

Good for you! I wish you all the best and a whole bunch of great adventures.

At 67 I am already regretting the things I haven't done. I should have a lot more under my belt. I'm still learning a lot about life though.
Go for it and God bless you.

Dave & June...Mark Twain is a wise man...

“Life is short, break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile. Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

Welcome to the forum, and this is such a great place for learning about and enjoying the VanDwelling lifestyle.
