I'm test driving one of these right now, and I have to say - I kind of love it.
Drives great, super mpg, and feels spacious compared to the Grand Caravan; it has more width and headroom, maybe a few inches shorter in lenght.  I definitely see possibilities for extended traveling or minimalist living.

Have you compared it to the others in that class, ford transit connect, nissan nv200 or the chevy?

I haven't had any seat time in the others, only compared specs and features which seem to be pretty even across the board.  I'd been kind of eyeing the Ford and Chevy versions but the RAM wasn't even on my radar until recently.
This particular vehicle popped up for sale near me at a very inviting price, so I rather impulsively decided to check it out as I'm less than thrilled with the options for fitting out the Grand Caravan with my limited skills.
The only thing this particular vehicle lacks that I'd like is operable windows.  Well, that and a spare tire.  I wonder if that's an easy/inexpensive aftermarket upgrade?  (The windows that is - I've already checked out the spare tire kit- yikes!)

Re-badged Fiat Doblo....ProMaster Citys are built in Turkey (at Fiat’s joint-venture Tofaş plant in Bursa), and shipped to North America....

Who's going to fix a break down in a rural area?

Search the forum for previous discussions on the larger Promasters....just scroll down a little from this thread.   :(

Not a concern for me personally, but thanks for the input.

I have a friend who has one and loves it. Then he bent a wheel and there was not one single wheel for it in the entire USA. He had to wait while one was air freighted in.
