Passport America - Yeh or Nah?

I used Passport America multiple times on my last trip to and from Florida. It paid for itself several times over. But, we did use parks as we were on "vacation", unlike now where we'll be squatting during the winter cold.

I have Escapees and will let it lapse.

We have given up on private campgrounds. Where we live, most are tacky permanent sites where the weekend party crowd ruin any semblance of peace, and quiet. The last time we stayed in a private CG, our awning poles were 3' from the next camper, with random fireworks, and loud drinkers carousing late into the night.

We almost exclusively stay in State parks now, and with the senior discount, aren't badly priced....we are generally weekend warriors, (mini vacations), and not full timing.
