Since I was a little kid living in Florida the nomad life has been going strong and I used to see the rigs rolling in as a kid. This is nothing new and has been going on since the dawn of man.
 
Yeah growing up we had various tiny setups not big enough to really be called RVs I think but as I’ve already posted I remember camping on the beach in Baja and staying at an RV park also in Baja in 1967 that was entirely retired Americans.

I read an article from the 1930’s when the first RV craze started. It was very anti-RV because the author felt people were trying to escape from community/society and various taxes.
