got pointed at this group as a good go to group for info, at the moment i spend half my year in USA on the custom harvest run rv living, and the other half of the year in the uk bedding down where ever i can, i keep wanting to build a double decker coach rv, bed and living top deck, maybe shower up top as well, kitchen/diner/laundry lower deck, because i spend so much time on both sides of the pond, i would run 2 electric circuits, US voltage and UK voltage, i very often ship a vehicle or 2 home at the end of the season, so i can find the best or cheapest items from either country to use in the coach, voltage won't matter,

Welcome to the CRVL Forums    

Some years ago we spoke of a couple of old books here at CRVL that dated back into the 70's. 

These books were loaded with photos and double decker's were included.  This may be right down your alley.  You may find these yet in Libraries. 

Some of these were raised roof school busses.  Of them some had the top half of a VW Van mounted onto that.

it will stay in the uk, not get taken both ways, i have work supplied accommodation in the US
