Newbie Starting Out

Im just starting to look seriously for a Van or small RV. I have my car, guitars, etc for sale. Ive spent tens of 1000s of dollars paying rent in LA for the last 20 years. Got my first van in my 20s, was in a band and we toured the mid west for years. I loved the freedom of a van with a bed, frig. 

Would love to get any input from anybody. I wanting to stay in the California, Arizona area. But Im open.
