I came here as an active proponent of self-sufficiency, independence, and self reliance.  Almost 10 years ago I started a Youtube channel that has grown into a good source of DIY, solar, battery, and product review information.  I also have a web store where I sell lithium batteries and other off grid solar products.

I am very interested in this type of thing.  Unfortunately, my personal circumstances don't allow me to pursue this type of lifestyle since I have two special needs children.  But I do plan on building a homestead in the next several years out of state from where I currently live (Texas) and that will require me to live out of an RV while I am on site working.

Thanks!  Do you know why I can't add a signature?  The Edit Signature option is not listed under Edit Profile in the settings.

so you went to the "User CP"
then under where it says "Your Profile" one of the many buttons isn't "Change Signature"?

Nope.  I can send you a screenshot if you would like.  There are only 5 buttons:  Edit Profile, Change Password, Change Email, Change Avatar, and Edit Options.

It's good to see ldsreliance here. I have mentioned your lithium batteries a couple years ago. Also, I'm a little surprised Will Prowse has never reviewed those batteries.

I know the story on that but I can't publicly divulge the details.  If it were up to me I would send Will a battery to play with.  I most likely will do that with my new batteries that I am importing.
