Took me 3-4 days to get the registration working but I finally made it here. The forum doesn't like my email address...

Anyway, single, I'm retired, temporarily living with one of my sons. I have a 2005 Astro AWD cargo van that I'm setting up as my camper, it's pretty basic, but it's almost done. I hope to go off on the maiden voyage sometime this week. I'm just going out to a picnic area where I plan on staying a few nights, and exploring the Chihuahuan desert of southern NM during the day. I love the desert and the American southwest, but my sons think I'm crazy, my daughter is the only one who understands. Anyway, I figure a few days should be enough to uncover any glaring problems.

I found out about this place from Bob Wells' book (Kindle edition) How to Live in a Car, Van, or RV. Traveling/living in a van is an idea that I have had for years, decades even, and I can finally do something about it.
