The odd thing is, Nevada's is actually one of the harder CCWs to get. You actually have to shoot the weapon and it only applies to the weapon you shot with. To carry different weapons, you have to shoot them to add them to the the CCW.

The Arizona CCW (Not needed in AZ, but honored in many other states) is now valid in Nevada. Just got back from my buddy's 220 acre ranch outside of Reno where we shot on his 850 yard range. Carried my pistol the whole time I was in Nevada, including the casinos.

Off topic: On the way back from Carson City to South Lake Tahoe there is a trail head near the summit of the mountains (7,000 elevation) where overnight camping in vehicles is not prohibited and I got a restful night of sleep there. Large pine trees all around the parking area, and a small picnic area as well. I did notice 4 110v outlets that were not protected near the parking area, but did not use them. I could see those outlets could cause problems for van dwellers if used/abused.

That was the old law Bob, it's been changed and now all CCWs are stamped "All Handguns".

That's good to know! Although I'm a resident I haven't been in the state since my last license renewal 3 years ago. I'm planning to stop by this fall and get a new handgun so I'll get a CCW as well.

I have AZ, UT, and OR. I'm covered in all states that I would travel in except CA.

CA is a lost cause...

CO is going to be the biggest PITA for me.  They won't recognize my home state's permit (NY), they won't issue me a non-resident permit, and all the permits they DO recognize are Resident only, not non-resident.
