I just got a Christmas sale flyer from Cabellas.  From now through December 16th, they have Yamaha EF2000is generators on sale for $999.99.  They come with 200 Cabellas bucks which you can then use in your next order to buy a sleeping bag, cooler, clothes, or whatever.  Also, shipping is free.

BTW, for comparison purposes, Amazon shows the same Generator right now for $948, regularly $1,099.

Regards
John

I take it that's in American dollars?
I just won a bid in Canada here for a Honda EU2000i that retails new for $1550, my bid was $850, it is a few years old, was only run for one day, belongs to a local oilfield company. They have been laying people off in droves over the past year and now are liquidating barely used inventory items.

The Yamaha can be had here new on sale for $1152 out the door.

I had to go with Honda, cuz I can't have a blue genny in a red van.... :)

Generator gasoline needs to be run through the lines or run with a storage chemical before it sits for years. Hope you have good luck and that stored generator works when you get it.

Yeah, not sure if they put anything in the gas or not, stored indoors on a shelf, worst case a carb job, minor stuff really since the engine has virtually no wear.
