Natural Gas as Fuel?

Can anyone elaborate a bit on this for me? I see quite a few 2000 and up Ford E350 vans in the Annapolis area that run on natural gas. Is this economical? It sounds scary to me.<br>

According to the link I found while the gas may be cleaner it's less economical and the tanks take up more space especially if the vehicle is dual fuel.<br><br><br>
