I think The Old Man and the Sea was his masterpiece. You either love it or hate it. I found it exquisite. I saw some classic, “normal” drawings by Picasso. The man could draw like a camera but that wasn’t how he expressed himself. So Hemingway too wrote in his own style. I am amazed every time I read the book at his use of the English language.

Read it many times. i can actually see the cover. shantyboat Bill bill was another one i read.
I built a jon boat in the basement and bought supplies for going down the Mississippi.
I think My van is setup about like that boat.
Another book that influenced Me was the future of solar energy by D.S, Halacy.
I think it predicted a theoretical limit of 7% or so for solar cells . Really sparked my interest in
Solar.
