Nice job
if I had a side door I could do that-to mine.

Build the wall...just put in a door where my window is
I ve seen it done on another build

maddad63, that is a great job!! I also am in a cargo trailer but mine is 6x10. Do you have any pictures of the sliding screen door, I've been looking for a screen door for mine.

Great look, gave me some more ideas. My trailer is a monster, maybe I should enclose the front half and use the back half as the work space. 8.5x20 enclosed trailer is a monster, especially on fuel.

Maddog63, you have given me a good idea for my short school bus, we need to install a window unit but didn't want to remove a window or cut a hole in the body. The bus has a back single door but the idea will still work. It also has a side door that housed the handicap lift and the front entrance door, the lift has been removed and we use it to enter the bus.

Thank you for the idea!:)

arizonatruck, this is the only picture I have at the moment:

@msbarth:

How is your bus titled? I just wondered if you have to pay extra for commercial tags or can tag it as an RV or a regular van.

Oh Boy!!!!.....a Short bus , can I ride in it again......Ken I , Ken I ....Ken I !!!!!!!

actually they make great units, I had one and changed the windows to RV sliders , nice bus.....good luck with the build!!!

Yeah, I saw one just like this one that was painted a nice tan/sand color with fancy chrome wheels. It had the sliders, window AC,etc. A very nice conversion and I want one.

Made mine out of 1x4 framing...a full length window screen from Lowes...a sliding closet door hardware kit from lowes...total cost 42 dollars

That picture was when I bought it. Had sat in that spot over 5 years, took some fresh gas, gas treatment and new battery and cranked her up and brought her home. It was about a half mile from my house and was used to pull a BBQ concession trailer.

We were in the process of painting it white but haven't painted the roof yet, gotta wait on my son to come do that, I am too damn old to be climbing on the roof of a bus

It is licensed as a motorhome and has handicap tags. It is insured through Nationwide for less than 200 bucks a year (liability only).

Inside is not fancy, bed, couch, porta-potty, fridge and combination oven and two burner top. I have been camping in it 3 times and it is lots of fun.

Weather is decent today so I will take some more pics later today.

Yes, oops... just a little bit of hijack there.

-Maddad63 has very nice cargo conversion with lots of good ideas!

Bindi I would be pleased to show off my Little Bus!

Look for it coming to a theater near you.:D

Maddad - Wow! Will you please post more pictures of what you did?

Thank you,
Sassy

Maddad, I like what you have done with the cargo trailer. Nice storage for batteries and what not just outside your framed in wall.
